I went down to L.A. again to play the part of a police officer for a movie called
The Space Between. The Producer / Writer / Director of this film is Travis Fine.
This is taken from IMDB website: Montine McLeod, a lonely flight attendant, and OMAR HASSAN, a 10 year-old Arab-American
boy, are on a plane that is grounded in Amarillo, Texas on the morning of September 11th, 2001. But when Montine discovers
that Omar's father works in the World Trade Center, she is forced to drive the boy back home to his uncertain future in New
York City.
When I arrived at the shoot site which was on another sound stage they were outside shooting a scene that recreated part
of the 9-11 disaster, it is always great to watched the film maker's work there magic. I got to meet Travis if only for a
second and he was great to work for. Then there where the other extras some I even worked with on the Second Class Citizen
shoot. There was one of them that played a police officer as well and that I hung out with and we talked allot about diffirent
movie's or films we had been in his name is Ron Osburn Jr.. I didn't really get the chance to talk to Melissa Leo who is the
lead in this movie but I did get to talk to François Chau most would know him from Lost he plays Dr. Pierre Chang the
one in the Darma videos and we find out when there in the past that he is Miles Dad. He was great to talk to and even let
me take a picture with him and I enjoyed watching him work his craft. Well the in this scene we are in a police station 2
days after 9-11 and I just get to walk in and out of camera shot along with the other extras to create the mood that things
are hecktic and there is allot going on. The shoot only lasted for 5 hours, so after we were wrapped at 4 PM I headed
back to Idaho(I drove down about 12 hours drive time) and arrived home
5 AM the next morning. Well below is some pictures I took at the shoot I hope you like them take care stay frosty and
come back often.
